Treatment overview

The treatment contains a combination of Hyaluronic acid, multi-vitamins, amino acids and peptides. The formula is delivered to the skin via tiny gold needles, as fine as a human hair and can help to revive a youthful and bright complexion.

Environmental pollutants, lifestyle choices and the ageing process can all affect the condition of the skin. Factors such as: sun exposure, smoking and poor diet, can help to accelerate the rate at which skin ages and the breakdown of collagen and elastin – the substances that maintain a strong skin structure.

It can also affect healthy levels of hydration, which together can leave the skin dull, dry and looking tired.

The treatment itself benefits the skin by delivering active ingredients and antioxidants where they are most needed, activating your skin at a cellular level. The gold facial stimulates collagen and elastin, whilst also flooding the skin with hydrating properties. The procedure will help to tighten and firm the skin, as well as improving the texture and tone.

Am I a suitable candidate?

This procedure will be beneficial for those who are seeking an effective anti-ageing treatment, improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and loose skin. The treatment can also help with acne-prone skin, pigmentation issues and uneven skin tone.

Does it hurt?

This treatment should not be painful, but some patients do report that it can feel a little uncomfortable. Some skin types are more sensitive than others, therefore a numbing cream (applied 20 minutes before the procedure) can help. Your healthcare professional can discuss this option with you.

Is there any aftercare to consider?

It may be recommended that you drink 2 litres of water on the day before your treatment, and for up to 1 week after. This will help with the absorption of the active ingredients. It may be advised that you refrain from sun exposure for 48 hours after the procedure and you wait for around 8 hours before you shower. Any advice that is offered will be in the interests of ensuring successful healing and recovery.

Is there any downtime?

It may take around 24 hours for any swelling, redness and bruising to settle. This period should not cause any disruption to you being able to carry out normal daily tasks, but you may need to consider that a series of 6 – 8 treatments could be recommended, performed 2 weeks apart.

I am so impressed at the exceptional service at the Paradise Aesthetic Clinic. They have so many bespoke treatments in the clinic and Doctor Ellie was so attentive and created a treatment plan that perfected suited my needs. The laser hair removal was fast and importantly there's no down time! I was actually amazed that the entire treatment itself was entirely pain free! It was strangely satisfying and I'm so excited to be hair free a few months from now. I also had a freckle removal treatment called IPL which I was a bit nervous of admittedly. However, I felt completely at ease throughout the entire treatment and Dr Ellie was so knowledgable and reassuring.
