Laser hair removal delivers powerful pulses of light energy into the skin to safely and effectively reduce the regrowth of unwanted hair.
Common areas that this treatment addresses, include: arms, armpits, chest, legs, bikini line and face. It can be particularly successful for women who are affected by Hirsutism (excessive unwanted hair growth).
Although body hair acts to protect the skin, not all people are happy with particularly thick and noticeable hair in certain areas. This perception of what is considered aesthetically pleasing can often be influenced by trends in beauty, as well as what the individual considers acceptable.
The laser removal process involves the practitioner placing a handheld device on the skin and triggering the laser.
The device will then be moved around the treatment area as required. The controlled beam of light is attracted to the pigment of the hair and this in turn, targets the follicle destroying the hair at the root. The destruction of the root prevents the hair from regrowing. A series of procedures may be required, as the results can be gradual and it also ensures the entire area of concern is addressed.
A face-to-face consultation with one of the team at Paradise Aesthetic Clinic can assess your condition and recommend a course of treatments that aim to produce the best possible outcome.

Laser treatments that aim to reduce hair growth can be used on a variety of areas on the face and body, such as: over the lip, side burns, jawline, armpits, chest, arms, legs and bikini line. A full assessment can enable your practitioner to make the right recommendation according to your individual concerns.
The application of laser treatments will cause hair regrowth to slow down. A dead hair will usually detach from the follicle within 2 – 3 weeks of the procedure. New hair may regrow, but it will be much finer than before. As the treatment course progresses, the hair will grow back less and less, with an 90% reduction by the end.
Your expert therapist will be able to give you a more accurate understanding of the results you are likely to achieve. This will depend on a variety of factors, including: what area needs treating, the colour of the hair and the thickness of the hair. Typically, most clients will need between 4 and 8 treatments to reach their goal.
Paradise Aesthetic Clinic has a team of fully insured and experienced practitioners. Each therapist has relevant qualifications and training in how to perform laser treatments and their safety, as well as adhering to the protocols set out within the clinic itself. Laser treatments are very popular throughout the world and many clients have seen successful results.
Following the procedure it is common for the treated area to become red, with small raised bumps. This effect usually only lasts for a few hours for most clients, with occasional cases needing to allow 48 hours for this to settle. In less common cases a client has experienced an itching sensation to the skin, as the hair removes itself from the follicle.
Our excellent service and high standards as described by you, our valued clients.
