Suitable for use on the face, chest, back or shoulders, this procedure can address common conditions such as: age spots, lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun damaged skin, hyperpigmentation and oily or congested skin.

Microdermabrasion is a highly popular non-surgical method of renewing the skin by means of mechanical exfoliation, without using either chemicals or lasers. Our crystal free Orbital Microdermabrasion handpiece rotates at different speeds on an elliptical axis, enabling the abrasive treatment tip to perform progressive and controlled skin exfoliation, whilst polishing and massaging the skin at the same time

The procedure targets the top layer of the skin – the layer that causes the complexion to look dull and uneven, without involving the use of chemicals or the need for anaesthesia. The device features different treatment modes, appropriate for achieving different levels of skin rejuvenation and facial toning, and appeals to both men and women of all ages.

Are there any side effects or risks?

You may find the treatment area becomes a little red and swollen, following the procedure and will subside relatively quickly. Some clients have expressed an unusual smell whilst the procedure is in progress. This is to be expected and is an effect of the skin cells being heated and buffed away. Any other associated risks will be explained to you prior to the procedure.

I am so impressed at the exceptional service at the Paradise Aesthetic Clinic. They have so many bespoke treatments in the clinic and Doctor Ellie was so attentive and created a treatment plan that perfected suited my needs. The laser hair removal was fast and importantly there's no down time! I was actually amazed that the entire treatment itself was entirely pain free! It was strangely satisfying and I'm so excited to be hair free a few months from now. I also had a freckle removal treatment called IPL which I was a bit nervous of admittedly. However, I felt completely at ease throughout the entire treatment and Dr Ellie was so knowledgable and reassuring.
