RadioFrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) is the technique used by Paradise Aesthetic Clinic for effective thigh contouring.
This minimally invasive technique works to tighten the skin and remove fatty tissues, simultaneously. The treatment can target larger areas of stubborn fat, without causing any damage to the surrounding tissues.
When stubborn or excess fat distributes itself around the thigh area, it can often give a person a pear-shaped body profile. This can often look unbalanced in comparison to the rest of the body.
RFAL is applied through the use of a handheld device. There are two parts to this piece of machinery; a cannula for extracting the fat and a paddle that tightens the skin. The cannula is inserted into the skin which delivers heat to the fatty tissue. This helps to melt the fat into liquid form, so it can be easily extracted out through the tube.
Whilst the cannula is being moved around under the skin, the paddle is working on the surface. A lower temperature of heat works to stimulate the collagen fibres, which encourages the skin tightening effect.
When both these methods work at the same time, the contouring process is more effective and a smooth body form is achieved.
A detailed look at your condition will ensure this is the right treatment and the right size device is used. This procedure can also be used on other areas of the body, including: the face, lower arms and breasts.

RAFL can be used to treat both small and larger areas of the body, including: the face (under the chin), stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, neck and male chest.
The device has different sized handpieces which are suited to the area it is intended to treat.
The device used by Paradise Aesthetic Clinic’s team has FDA approval. The clinic has an expert professional surgeon, who is appropriately trained and experienced in the treatments that are available at the clinic. The welfare of their clients is always held in high regard and every step is taken to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
A smooth, more stream-lined look to the thigh area can be achieved through this procedure. The results can be seen immediately but will also continue to improve over a short space of time. The outcome can be permanent but this is providing a healthy lifestyle is maintained and a steady weight and BMI is upheld. This treatment does not ensure you are exempt from gaining weight in the future.
Some swelling, redness and minor bruising can be expected following the procedure. Any sensitivity can be eased through the use of an appropriate pain relief or the application of cool packs. The skin of the treated area may look uneven for around 2 – 3 weeks, after which time this will settle and any lumps or bumps will disappear.
This treatment is more effective for people who are in good health with a strong skin structure. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, this procedure is not be recommended. You may also not be suitable if you have an auto-immune disorder, skin diseases, and disorders, or have a known allergy to local anesthetics.
Thigh contouring is a fantastic stand alone treatment, although works well with other post surgery treatments to help maintain and enhance the final outcome.
